1. Suits - Check with me (Sarah) tomorrow about suits. I still have a few from the main order. Swim & Tri said orders for McLean, Burnette, Tims, McGhee, Rone, Reinhart, Gettings, Kannaday, Leopard, & Rogers should be shipped directly to your home. If I receive any shipments, I will bring them to the pool the next day. I should be able to catch all three workouts at the pool from 8:30 to 10:30. We also have a new in the box boys size 28 jammer with logo for sale $50. If anyone needs one, please see me at the pool.
2. Heat sheets - Heat sheets will be posted on the blog either late, late Wednesday evening or sometime before noon on Thursday. Heat sheets are printed for the scorers, timers, and shepherds, etc. plus we will have one posted for you to mark your swimmer(s). Otherwise you will probably want to print one to for your family to refer to during the meet.
3. Work crew - Several slots are still open for the meet. Find your niche on deck, at the scoring table or behind the concessions stand. See me (Sarah) tomorrow for specific jobs or to register as a floater. If a family has a swimmer in the meet, then at least one parent needs to take an active part in the infrastructure making that meet run smoothly. However, we totally understand if a family has one parent traveling and the remaining parent has multiple siblings who need attention, a grandparent is stepping in, etc.
4. Notification delays - Several of us have noticed a huge time lag between the blog post and the email notifications. Thursdays you may need to check the blog directly to access the heat sheet before you come to the meet with or without a notification. Also, if any weather related issues come up, check the blog to see if anything has posted. Generally, unless the sirens go off or the rain is pelting down, plan to come to the pool.
